Job Overview: As an Operations Supervisor at our Wegmans Warehouse, you will lead customer service and manage daily warehouse operations. You will supervise multiple employees responsible for receiving vendor products and selecting/picking store orders safely and efficiently for our 100+ locations. Responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent customer service to stores by coordinating tasks, maintaining inventory accuracy, and communicating productivity status.
• Helping employees understand their duties, expectations, and holding them accountable for performance.
• Ensuring cold chain and food safety initiatives are followed to keep products fresh and of high quality.
• Seeking operational improvements to reduce costs, manage inventory, and increase efficiency.
• Meeting productivity goals by prioritizing tasks effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience leading a team.
• Proficiency with computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual abilities.
• Experience in distribution or warehouse operations.

Experience in logistics or related fields, a Bachelor's in Logistics Management, and warehouse experience are preferred. The role involves medium physical demands, including walking, standing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, climbing, and reaching in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Protective clothing and equipment are provided, and experience with Warehouse Management Systems and store operations leadership is desirable.
