Position Overview And Purpose
This role plans, assigns, and directs activity within our cold storage facility in a safe and orderly fashion. This role will also be primarily responsible for the selection, training, and retention of our warehouse team.

Essential Functions And Basic Duties

• Direct supervision of a team of warehouse employees, including assigning work, setting and attaining performance goals, and managing performance in accordance with organizational policies and operating standards.
• Lead by example by living the company values of Integrity, Accountability, Transparency, Impact, Humility, and Community.
• Work and lead others in a fast-paced, cold storage environment.
• Cultivate a culture of productivity, belonging, and responsibility. Communicate company goals and vision, objectives, and direction to warehouse staff.
• Cultivate Arcadia employees' personal and professional development to ensure they are proficient in their current role and supported in their pursuit of future roles.
• Establish an environment of teamwork, employee involvement/empowerment, fairness, and consistency. Promote the Open-Door Philosophy.
• Operate the facility in compliance with health, safety, and environment regulations which establish a culture of safety. Ensure work areas and equipment are clean, well-maintained, and safe.
• Build and maintain partnerships with other departments across the organization.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required. Relevant advanced degree preferred.
• 4 years warehouse management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Strong leadership skills, with emphasis on guiding and developing a team, customer service, communications, and planning.
• Ability to solve problems and present information effectively to customers, clients, and employees.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Ability to withstand cold storage temps for extended periods of time (warm gear provided by company).
