The Berkshire eSupply Warehouse Supervisor plays a crucial role in the leadership team, working collaboratively towards improving efficiencies and increasing profitability. The main focus of this position is on meeting customer needs and achieving best-in-class operations. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of warehouse employees, coordinating workflow, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and safety. They will also be responsible for training new team members as they are hired and/or as new procedures are implemented. This position requires a strong leadership background and the ability to motivate others to perform at the highest level to achieve company goals.

The employee in this role will be in a physical or moving position and will need to communicate with others through listening, talking, and writing. They will frequently walk, sit, lift, or stand for extended periods.

Position Responsibilities

• Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with superior customer service being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals
• Supervise and lead a team of 10 or more warehouse employees, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
• Implement proper stock rotations where needed
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
• Ensure accurate receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory
• Oversee inventory counts and audits to meet accuracy and timeliness targets
• A professional presence that creates trust and credibility
• Superior customer service, where going above and beyond is the norm
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
• Provide support/backup to the Warehouse Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in warehouse operations or a similar role
• Must receive company-provided forklift certification within the first 90 days of employment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to twist, pull, push, and stand for long periods
• Dependable and reliable with excellent time management skills
• Comfortable working in adverse climate conditions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external resources to generate results
• Excellent communication skills while being comfortable delivering frequent direct written and/or oral feedback
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Commitment to safety and compliance
