Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor at our Headquarters Service Center in Ohio. This role runs Monday to Friday, 2:30am–11:00am, overseeing packing, shipping, receiving and inventory. You will support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient, and cost-effective warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a management role.
• Previous experience in vending/foodservice is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Support Branch Manager in safe, efficient, and economical warehouse operations.
• Coordinate preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory; ensure accuracy and condition of shipments.

HEADQUARTERS SERVICE CENTER

Our Headquarters Service Center serves as the main support for all AVI operations throughout the United States. Departments include accounting, administration, finance, human resources, marketing, procurement, risk management, training and development, wellness and much more.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Warehouse Supervisor. This position is Monday - Friday 2:30am-11am.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory
• Support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient and economic running of the Warehouse
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory
• Oversee and participate in incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
• Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members
• Conduct Inventory counts
• Order warehouse supplies when needed
• Develop and maintain an effective department, assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a management role
• Previous experience in vending/foodservice is preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Outgoing, personable, and ability to communicate with all levels of a company
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good driving record
• Professional appearance
