AVI Foodsystems, Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking an energetic Warehouse Supervisor/Manager to lead our warehouse team, Monday–Friday, at our Cleveland facility.

This full-time position oversees packing, shipping, receiving and inventory, and supports the Branch Manager in safe, efficient operations. The role requires 3–5 years of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a management role.
• Experience in vending/foodservice is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse team and packing, shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient operation of the Warehouse.
• Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy of records.
• Maintain safety logs and a clean, safe warehouse environment.
• Coordinate order processing and supplier communications.

HEADQUARTERS SERVICE CENTER

Our Headquarters Service Center serves as the main support for all AVI operations throughout the United States. Departments include accounting, administration, finance, human resources, marketing, procurement, risk management, training and development, wellness and much more.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Warehouse Supervisor/Manager. This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday at our warehouse in Cleveland, OH

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory
• Support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient and economic running of the Warehouse
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory
• Oversee and participate in incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
• Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members
• Conduct Inventory counts
• Order warehouse supplies when needed
• Develop and maintain an effective department, assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Working / hands on position.
• Coaching and training of team members.
• Order processings: Coke, Pepsi, Vistar, AVI product ordering.
• Maintaining Safety Logs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a management role
• Previous experience in vending/foodservice is preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Outgoing, personable, and ability to communicate with all levels of a company
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good driving record
• Professional appearance
