Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Supervisor in Ohio, working Monday–Friday from 2:30am to 11:00am. The role involves leading the warehouse team, coordinating packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control to ensure accurate and timely operations.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a management role.
• Previous experience in vending/foodservice is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Outgoing, personable, and ability to communicate with all levels of a company.
• Ability to multi-task
• Good driving record and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient and economic running of the Warehouse.
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory.
• Oversee and participate in incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members.
• Conduct Inventory counts.
• Order warehouse supplies when needed.
• Develop and maintain an effective department, assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
