Job summary

Empire Auto Parts, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the regional warehouse team supporting collision repair shops in the area. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee receiving, shipping, QC, and daily operations while ensuring safety and accuracy.

The role emphasizes scheduling, KPI-driven improvements, SOP development, training, and cross-functional communication with vendors. A year of lead experience and solid computer skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of Warehouse Lead experience.
  • Solid computer skills and ability to use workplace software.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in safety and warehouse processes training.
  • Manage the workflow for the major warehouse tasks (receiving, shipping, maintenance and QC).
  • Manage team members and create schedules.
  • Troubleshoot problems in daily operations of the major warehouse tasks.
  • Assist in developing and updating SOPs.
  • Identify productivity areas to measure KPIs and guide the team to goals.
  • Schedule all incoming shipments—overseas and domestic—and update programs.
  • Oversee order picking process and shipments of defective items to vendors.
  • Process claims for defective or damaged product.

Scope and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is a key link between the company and its customer base of collision repair shops in the region. The goal for each Warehouse Supervisor is to provide support to a fast‑paced Warehouse Team and contribute to the workflow of the department that oversees the warehouse operations and staff.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Assist in safety and warehouse processes training
  • Maintain a safe and clean warehouse (building and equipment maintenance following safety regulations; trash clean up, facility repairs or equipment repair)
  • Manage the workflow for the major warehouse tasks (receiving, shipping, maintenance and QC)
  • Manage team members and create schedules
  • Troubleshoot problems associated with daily operations in the major warehouse tasks (receiving, shipping, maintenance and QC)
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in developing and updating SOPs
  • Identify productivity areas to measure to help the Director of Warehouse Operations and Warehouse Manager generate KPIs
  • Interpret KPIs and guide the team to achieve set goals
  • Schedule all incoming shipments—overseas and domestic—and update all relevant programs
  • Manage the order picking process
  • Create and schedule shipments of defective or damaged items back to vendors
  • Conduct equipment operator training
  • Order warehouse supplies and equipment
  • Schedule warehouse equipment maintenance
  • Process claims for defective or damaged product
  • Use email communication with other DCs, vendors or manufacturers
  • Oversee the performance management of warehouse staff
  • Assist in physical labor when needed
Key Selection Criteria
  • At least one year of Warehouse Lead experience
  • Highly motivated performer, versatile, agile with strong leadership skills
  • Presented professionally, courteous by phone or email
  • Solid computer skills required
  • Fluent with workflow relevant programs and processes
  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines
  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm (Closing Supervisor)
