ITG Communications is hiring for Warehouse Supervisor in Gadsden, AL

Purpose:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations during an assigned shift or within a designated area. This role supervises Warehouse Assistants and ensures the safe, accurate, and efficient handling, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment to support field operations. The Warehouse Supervisor upholds compliance, safety, and quality standards while maintaining optimal inventory control.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise warehouse activities, staff, and processes during assigned shifts or for designated areas.

Requirements

Education:High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Working knowledge of warehouse and inventory control systems
• Daily interaction with warehouse team, contractors, and logistics partners
• Hands-on familiarity with shipping, receiving, and inventory

Exposure:

• Hands-on warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and distribution
• Daily use of warehouse systems and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Responsibility for supervising staff and enforcing safety standards
• Understanding of inventory control processes and logistical workflows
• Factors critical to success at ITG Communications for this position:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lead a shift team with accountability and clear communication
• Consistent execution of warehouse procedures and problem-solving on the floor

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• Ability to use hands and arms to handle tools, equipment, and materials
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs
• Must maintain all safety expectations and use PPE as required
• May need to work outdoors in varying conditions for extended periods
