Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse team in a full-time role. The position follows a Monday-through-Saturday schedule with early starts at 5:00 a.m. (and 3:00 a.m. on Wednesdays) and full days on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

You will supervise packing, shipping, receiving and inventory, support the Branch Manager, and develop a high-performing department through training and coaching. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years in a management role.
• Experience in vending/foodservice preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Outgoing, personable, and able to communicate with all levels of a company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse team and packing, shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient and economical operation of the Warehouse.
• Oversee and participate in preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory.
• Oversee and participate in incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy and condition of shipments.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with procedures; rectify discrepancies with team members.
• Conduct inventory counts and order warehouse supplies as needed.
• Develop and maintain an effective department; train, motivate and review team members.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Warehouse Supervisor, Full-time. This position is scheduled Monday through Saturday. Early start time 5:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Full days scheduled Wednesday and Saturday.

The pay for this position is: $25/hr.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory
• Support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient and economic running of the Warehouse
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory
• Oversee and participate in incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
• Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members
• Conduct Inventory counts
• Order warehouse supplies when needed
• Develop and maintain an effective department, assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a management role
• Previous experience in vending/foodservice is preferred
