Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Supervisor for the 1st shift in Doral, FL. This full-time role reports to the Branch Manager and oversees the warehouse team, packing, shipping, receiving and inventory to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of management experience, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a management role.
• Previous experience in vending/foodservice is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Outgoing, personable and ability to communicate with all levels of a company.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient and economical running of the Warehouse.
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory.
• Oversee and participate in incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Review shipping discrepancies and work to rectify problems with relevant team members.
• Conduct inventory counts.
• Order warehouse supplies when needed.
• Develop and maintain an effective department, assist in training, motivation and review of team members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory

• Conduct Inventory counts
• Order warehouse supplies when needed
• Develop and maintain an effective department, assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members
• Perform other related duties as assigned
