Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Supervisor/Manager for our Cleveland, OH warehouse. This full-time, Monday–Friday role leads a team, oversees packing, shipping, receiving and inventory, and keeps safety and efficiency at the forefront in a fast-paced environment.

You will support the Branch Manager, coach staff, coordinate supplies and orders, and ensure accurate shipments while maintaining a positive, hands-on culture.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a management role, preferably in a warehouse or foodservice environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse team; manage packing, shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Support Branch Manager in safe, efficient daily operations.
• Lead training, coaching and performance reviews for staff.
• Ensure accuracy of shipments and maintain safety logs and housekeepings.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate with suppliers and carriers.
• Perform other related duties; hands-on leadership in a fast-paced warehouse.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Warehouse Supervisor/Manager. This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday at our warehouse in Cleveland, OH

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory


• Support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient and economic running of the Warehouse


• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory


• Oversee and participate in incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials


• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures


• Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members


• Conduct Inventory counts


• Order warehouse supplies when needed


• Develop and maintain an effective department, assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members


• Perform other related duties as assigned


• Working / hands on position.


• Coaching and training of team members.


• Order processings: Coke, Pepsi, Vistar, AVI product ordering.


• Maintaining Safety Logs.


• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a management role


• Previous experience in vending/foodservice is preferred


• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills


• Outgoing, personable, and ability to communicate with all levels of a company


• Ability to multi-task


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Good driving record
