Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Supervisor/Manager for our Cleveland, OH warehouse. This full-time role (Mon-Fri) focuses on leading the warehouse team, overseeing packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory, and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

The position requires 3–5 years of management experience, with strong communication and multitasking abilities. A background in vending/foodservice is preferred, and the job emphasizes hands-on leadership and staff development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a management role.
• Previous experience in vending/foodservice is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Outgoing, personable, and able to communicate with all levels of a company.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient and economic running of the Warehouse.
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory.
• Oversee and participate in incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Review shipping discrepancies and work to rectify problems with team members.
• Conduct inventory counts.
• Order warehouse supplies when needed.
• Develop and maintain an effective department, assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Working hands-on position.
• Coaching and training of team members.
• Order processing: Coke, Pepsi, Vistar, AVI product ordering.
• Maintaining Safety Logs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse.
