Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Previous warehouse experience is required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the supervision of the warehouse team and packing/shipping/receiving operations.
• Support the Warehouse Manager in running the warehouse.
• Oversee preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory.
• Ensure accuracy and condition of shipments and perform inventory checks.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Address shipping discrepancies with team members as needed and rectify problems.
• Assist with inventory counts and ordering warehouse supplies.
• Participate in training, motivation and reviews of team members.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing the supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory
• Support the Warehouse Manager in running the warehouse
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
• Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members
• Assist with inventory counts
• Order warehouse supplies when needed
• Assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
