Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Supervisor to join our Ohio team. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday with a 2:30am start, overseeing the warehouse crew, shipping/receiving, and inventory control.

You will support the Branch Manager to maintain safe, efficient, and economical operations across the warehouse. The role requires 3–5 years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience, with preference for vending/foodservice and light maintenance skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role.
• Experience in vending/foodservice is preferred.
• Light maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision of the warehouse team and packing, shipping, receiving and inventory operations.
• Support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient and economical warehouse operations.
• Prepare items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory; oversee accuracy and condition of shipments.
• Manage incoming and outgoing shipping activities and resolve discrepancies with team members.
• Conduct inventory counts and order warehouse supplies as needed.
• Develop and maintain an effective department and participate in team member training and review.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Warehouse Supervisor. This position is Monday-Friday with a 2:30am start time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory
• Support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient and economic running of the Warehouse
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory
• Oversee and participate in incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
• Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members
• Conduct Inventory counts
• Order warehouse supplies when needed
• Develop and maintain an effective department, assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working in a warehouse or in a shipping/receiving role
• Previous experience in vending/foodservice is preferred
• Light maintenance experience preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Outgoing, personable, and ability to communicate with all levels of a company
