Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Raleigh, NC to lead the startup of a new warehouse supporting our power electronics testing lab and service activities.

You will design layout, establish SOPs, set up material flow, and build a team focused on safety, quality, and efficiency. The role requires 5+ years of warehouse or logistics leadership in manufacturing, strong SAP inventory experience, and a hands-on, data-driven leader who can drive continuous improvement and effective

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse or logistics ops leadership in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Startup experience: opening a new facility, establishing procedures and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup of a new warehouse operation, including layout design and SOPs.
• Develop processes for receiving, storage, kitting, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure inventory accuracy using SAP, conduct cycle counting and reconciliation.
• Oversee inbound/outbound logistics with internal and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Build and develop a high-performing team with a safety-first culture.
• Monitor and improve warehouse performance via KPIs and Lean principles.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize space.
• Apply risk assessments to identify operational risks and mitigation strategies.
• Support audits and maintain governance and controls across warehouse ops.
