Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Warehouse Teammate in Lorton, VA to support receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment with strong attention to detail. You will handle shipments, packing, and documentation while ensuring safety and accuracy in daily operations.

Training and routine safety compliance are part of the role, with a focus on customer service excellence. Preferred candidates have at least 1 year in warehouse receiving and material handling, experience with RF scanners, and familiarity

Qualifications

• 1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems.
• Read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor shipments and customer returns.
• Stock and maintain the warehouse; pick, document, and pack orders per policy.
• Handle shipping discrepancies per procedures and forward paperwork as needed.
• Identify nonstock, special-order, and damaged material and store properly.
• Complete documentation for shipments delivered via third-party carrier.
• Load/unload trucks and operate forklift safely.
• Inform supervisor of stock depletions, discrepancies, or damaged merchandise.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and order; report safety issues.
