Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated seeks a Warehouse Associate to assist in offloading, receiving, shipping, storage and distribution in a warehouse. Daily tasks include barcode scanning to record movement, receipt, and inventory status changes, and operating forklift and cherry picker.

Responsibilities emphasize timely order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and safety compliance. The role offers 40 hours per week with benefits such as medical, vision, dental, basic life, 401k with match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–2 years’ experience in warehousing, receiving, packing or storage.
• Forklift certification required; cherry picker experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills for inventory logs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, transport and stock inbound products from manufacturing facilities and suppliers, including lifting and material handling.
• Accurately place and stack stock in designated areas and record stock locations into the inventory system.
• Fulfill orders by locating, transporting, offloading and scanning outbound products to shipping lanes.
• Match serialized products to orders and update locations in the system.
• Perform inventory cycle counts daily, weekly or monthly as required to meet company compliance.
• Operate heavy industrial power equipment and maintain safety with fall protection and lifting.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and comply with safety regulations.
