Job summary
La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Florida is seeking a Warehouse Associate II to assist in offloading, receiving, storing and shipping products. You will use bar code scanning and operate forklifts and cherry pickers safely to move inventory.
Responsibilities include inventory cycles, order fulfillment, accuracy in the perpetual inventory, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse. The role requires physical stamina and teamwork in a fast-paced RDC environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience in warehousing, receiving, shipping or storage of goods.
- Forklift certification required; cherry picker a plus.
- Basic computer skills for inventory logs.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to move heavy items up to 350 lbs for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Receive, transport and stock inbound products using manual and powered equipment.
- Record stock locations in the inventory system.
- Fulfill orders by selecting and scanning outbound products for shipping.
- Perform daily/weekly inventory cycle counts as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow safety regs.
- Assist with training and company initiatives as needed.
