Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Associate II to support offloading, receiving, storage, and distribution in our Florida facility. You will use bar code scanning to track movement and inventory, operate powered equipment, and ensure accurate stock records.

Responsibilities include stocking inbound products, order fulfillment, cycle counts, and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse. A high school diploma and forklift certification are required; cherry picker experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year experience in delivery, warehousing, receiving, issuing, packing, shipping and/or storage of goods.
• Forklift certification required; cherry picker experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for inventory logs and databases.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to move heavy items up to 350 lbs for several hours.

Responsibilities

• Receive, transport and stock inbound products from manufacturing facilities and suppliers.
• Accurately place and stack stock, recording stock locations in the inventory system.
• Fulfill orders by locating, transporting, offloading and scanning outbound products.
• Match serialized product to orders and update location in the system.
• Use heavy industrial power equipment and perform duties at heights with fall protection.
• Perform inventory cycle counts daily, weekly or monthly.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and comply with safety regulations.
• Attend required training and participate in safety committees.
