Job summary

Qnity Electronics is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Specialist to support warehouse operations at our Schaumburg, IL facility.

Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (Monday - Friday). Overtime may be required based on business needs. Qnity offers a comprehensive pay and benefits package.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years in material handling or warehouse picker role.
  • Experience operating a stand-up forklift strongly preferred.
  • Basic computer skills; ability to email/teams and use MS Office.
  • Experience with forklifts, pallets jacks, and warehouse equipment.
  • Basic math skills to calculate quantities and weights.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills; follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift to move materials to drop-off locations.
  • Meet department targets and adhere to quality and safety standards.
  • Work with mentors to improve work quality through feedback.
  • Receive and verify incoming pick tickets and locate products.
  • Retrieve orders accurately by quantity, size, and other specs.
  • Build pallets, wrap orders, and load onto trucks.
  • Restock inventory and maintain records; report equipment malfunctions.

Qnity Electronics is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Specialist to support warehouse operations at our Schaumburg, IL facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use a Forklift to deliver materials to dedicated drop‑off locations within the warehouse facility.
  • Meet department targets and consistently adhere to quality and safety standards,
  • Work with departmental mentors to gain and apply feedback in pursuit of improved work quality,
  • Receive and check incoming pick tickets on daily basis, locate products in warehouse accurately,
  • Retrieve orders according to quantity, size, etc. ensuring accuracy.
  • Build pallets with orders and position them on loading docks, wrap orders before loading on trucks
  • Re‑stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment, keep records of completed orders,
  • maintain equipment and report on malfunctions,
  • other responsibilities as assigned.
  • This position completes forklift training requirements needed in order to advance to the intermediate level.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED, 1+ years of demonstrated experience in a material handling or picker within a warehouse environment
  • Candidates must have experience in operating a stand‑up forklift
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to review and respond to requests via email/teams
  • Proficient in using MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks, and other warehouse equipment
  • Basic math skills with the ability to calculate quantities and weights proven
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to understand and complete requests given by team member of the department
  • Ability and willingness to follow Health Safety & Environment procedures accurately, reporting concerns promptly to the safety action team
