Job summary

Qnity is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support daily receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping activities in our fast-paced facility. You will use forklifts and pallet jacks, work with WMS software, and collaborate with purchasing and sales to resolve inventory issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily receiving activities, including unloading trucks and verifying purchases orders.
• Accurately put away received inventory into designated warehouse locations.
• Execute order picking and packing processes for outbound shipments.
• Prepare and load outbound shipments, labeling and coordinating with carriers.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventory counts.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and report issues promptly.
• Utilize WMS and other software for inventory transactions and records.
• Collaborate with purchasing and sales to resolve inventory-related issues.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily receiving activities, including unloading trucks, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, and identifying and reporting discrepancies.
• Accurately put away received inventory into designated warehouse locations, utilizing appropriate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Execute order picking and packing processes according to established procedures, ensuring correct product, quantity, and packaging for outbound shipments.
• Prepare and load outbound shipments, including labeling, staging, and coordinating with carriers.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventory counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Operate and maintain various material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Identify and report any issues or damage to inventory, equipment, or facilities.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software for inventory transactions and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to resolve inventory-related issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control role, preferably within an electronics distribution environment.
• Proficiency in operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) with valid certification preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and practices.
