Exciting opportunity - to join our team as a Warehouse Specialist located in Grand Rapids, MI!

Position Description:

• Responsible for shipping, handling, sorting, counting, and packaging of materials.
• Operates industrial powered lift equipment.
• Conducts or assists with physical inventory counts.
• Maintains work area and follows procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Remove inbound freight from carrier.
• Check for shipping damage and use bar code scanners to check inbound shipments and customer orders.
• Complete required paperwork and forward to Inventory Control.
• Assist other staff in resolving discrepancies discovered in receiving.
• Prepare material for shipment consistent with customer, trucker's or driver's requirements and balance and mark pallets.
• Wrap orders on pallets for the purposes of shipment and restock warehouse according to Inventory Manager's guidelines and practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience preferred and experience operating a hi-lo; however, we are willing to train the right person.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Stand up Reach Forklift experience a plus.
• Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery.
