Exciting opportunity - We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Specialist in Elk Grove Village, IL to join our team. Starting at $18/hour. No weekends.

Position Description

1. Responsible for shipping, handling, sorting, counting, and packaging of materials.
2. Operates industrial powered lift equipment.
3. Conducts or assists with physical inventory counts.
4. Maintains work area and follows procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
5. Removes inbound freight from carriers.
6. Checks for shipping damage and uses bar code scanners to check inbound shipments and customer orders.
7. Completes required paperwork and forwards to Inventory Control.
8. Assists other staff in resolving discrepancies discovered in receiving.
9. Prepares materials for shipment according to customer, trucker, or driver requirements, and balances and marks pallets.
10. Wraps orders on pallets for shipment and restocks the warehouse according to Inventory Manager’s guidelines.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience preferred; experience operating a hi-lo is a plus, but training will be provided.
2. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
3. High school diploma or GED required.
4. Valid driver’s license required.
5. Stand-up Reach Forklift experience is a plus.
6. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
