Job Summary

The Warehouse Lead oversees a group of employees within BOX Partner’s warehouse in Elgin, IL, to safely deliver products to customers with speed and quality. This leadership role is challenging and suited for individuals with a strong sense of ownership who enjoy launching new operations.

A BOX Partners warehouse is a complex environment requiring leaders passionate about safety, quality, and high-volume operations, with strong people leadership skills. Responsibilities include allocating labor, assigning duties, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting the Warehouse Operations Manager. A successful lead provides clear direction, ensures team support, and fosters continuous improvement.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Leading a department of 10+ warehouse workers
• Assigning, monitoring, and evaluating workflow
• Training employees on procedures and policies
• Maintaining documentation
• Involvement in distribution activities
• Overseeing shipping/receiving operations
• Completing required paperwork
• Using computer systems for data management
• Performing other duties as assigned

• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
• Minimum age 18

• Standing and walking for prolonged periods
• Lifting up to 49 pounds

Additional Information

BOX Partners is an E-Verify employer. The hourly pay range is $20 - $28, based on experience.
