Warehouse Specialist (EAGLE 2025-22699):

Bowhead seeks a Warehouse Specialist to support its recently awarded Eagle contract in Aberdeen, MD. The Warehouse Specialist independently performs material handling functions in support of the Accountable Property Office. The specialist performs various warehouse duties in accordance with Department of Defense (DOD) logistics procedures, standard operating procedures, and any local applicable regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include

• Sort, store, and coordinate the issue of equipment to Accountable Property Office customers.
• Coordinate the turn-in of equipment from Accountable Property Office customers.
• Perform inspection of items to ensure the quantity/items is not damaged.
• Turn in excess/unserviceable equipment to the Supply Support Activity.
• Operate vehicles, hand and forklift trucks in the normal course of operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required in addition to at least two (2+) years of warehouse inventory, record filing, and packaging duties.
• Must possess a valid state Driver's License and be able to obtain/maintain a forklift license.
• Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Physical Demands

• Lift/carry/push/slide up to 50 pounds routinely, up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Bend, squat, stoop, crouch, balance, and lean.
• Possess good motor skills and coordination.
• Both manual and mechanized application of shrink wrap.
• Sit for periods of time operating the computer keyboard.
• Repeat the same movements.
• Subjected to both inside and outside environmental conditions.
