Under the supervision of the Logistics Supervisor, the Logistics Specialist is responsible for providing support including picking, packing, assembly, sorting, shipping, and receiving of orders to meet productivity and quality goals. This role also involves forecasting and requisition of serialized and non-serialized materials, and efficient convertor staging, cleaning, and screening processes.

Responsibilities
  • Unload, receive, store, package, load, and ship inventory items such as cable converter boxes, broadband modems, fiber cables, installation kits, network hardware, telephones, and accessories from vendors, distribution centers, depots, and retail stores.
  • Prepare, maintain, and file forms for material movement and transactions.
  • Ensure accuracy in all receiving and shipping transactions, tracking inventory movement from receipt to shipment.
  • Record daily inventory movements and participate in periodic warehouse inventory and cycle counts, investigating discrepancies.
  • Assist in training Logistics Specialist I staff.
  • Operate vehicles safely, including pre/post-trips and record keeping.
  • Deliver materials and equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining inventory control.
  • Issue supplies to field personnel and maintain warehouse supplies.
  • Perform upkeep, preventive maintenance, and calibration of vehicles, forklifts, tools, and warehouse facilities.
  • Prepare damaged and scrap materials for off-site return or repair.
  • Clean, test, and reconfigure customer premise equipment and power cords, stage converters, and package kits for customer orders or bulk packaging.
  • Operate forklifts following safety protocols, including daily checks and maintenance.
  • Transport inventory to other warehouses or customer locations as needed.
  • Perform additional logistics and warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of mathematics and electronics.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based computers.

  • Ability to operate vehicles and forklifts safely.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Reliable attendance for scheduled hours.
