Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a dynamic Warehouse Solutions Sales Specialist to lead large projects and drive product sales. You will support sales teams on visits, sources, quotations, and orders while generating new business through leads and networking.

CAD drawing skills and strong communication are essential to define specifications and present compelling proposals. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of relevant experience, a business-oriented associate degree or higher, and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years related experience in sales or warehouse solutions.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Warehouse product knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales of warehouse products (rack, mezzanines, equipment).
• Lead large warehouse solutions projects initiated by sales staff.
• Support sales staff on visits, sourcing, quotations, and orders.
• Generate new business from leads, prospecting, and networking.
• Prepare warehouse solutions sales forecasts.
• Assist in developing sales strategies, proposals, and presentations.
• Identify and conduct warehouse solutions training for sales staff.
• Communicate with product vendors.
• Define customer application specifications.
• Draw full-size CAD drawings as needed.
• Review drawings, quotations, quantities, and capacity calculations.

Job description

• Maximize sales of warehouse products such as rack, mezzanines, and ancillary equipment


• Assume responsibility for large warehouse solutions projects initiated by sales staff


• Support sales staff on customer visits, equipment sourcing, quotations, and order processing


• Generate new business through internally provided leads, prospecting, and networking


• Prepare warehouse solutions sales forecasts


• Assist in developing warehouse solutions sales strategies, proposals, and presentations


• Identify, recommend, and conduct warehouse solutions training for sales staff


• Communicate with associated product vendors


• Assist in defining specifications for customer applications


• Draw full-size scalable CAD drawings as required


• Review drawings, quotations, quantities, and capacity calculations to ensure specifications are met


• Close sales to meet warehouse product quotas


• Manage installation projects

Requirements

• 2-4 years related experience


• Associate degree, preferably in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program, or equivalent experience


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Valid driver’s license and good driving record


• Ability to safely operate lift trucks


• Legally authorized to work in the United States


• No temporary visa or current/future sponsorship requirement


• Warehouse product knowledge strongly preferred


• Previous sales experience strongly preferred


• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills


• Strong problem-solving capabilities


• Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation


• Ability to work in a team environment


• Microsoft Office experience


• Several years of successful sales experience
