Job summary

Dematic's Software Engineering Manager leads a team delivering Warehouse Control System solutions for customer projects, combining people leadership, engineering management, and portfolio oversight to drive successful execution and customer satisfaction.

You will partner with customers and internal stakeholders, guide architecture reviews, plan staffing and budgets, and ensure delivery quality across multiple concurrent projects. Travel up to 15% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years software engineering in industrial automation or related fields.
• 3+ years in people management or tech leadership.
• Experience leading teams delivering software projects.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience forecasting staffing and project resources.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering org delivering warehouse automation software.
• Oversee staffing and resource allocation across customer projects.
