Dematic is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers delivering Warehouse Control System solutions for customer projects. Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in related industries.
• 3+ years of people management or technical leadership experience.
• Experience leading technical teams responsible for software project delivery.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and balancing priorities.
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing resources, staffing, and forecasting through leadership or project lead roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead a software engineering organization delivering warehouse automation software solutions.
• Oversee staffing and assignment of engineers across multiple customer projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to assess risks, staffing, schedules, and challenges.
• Review project health and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and mitigate risks.
• Support architecture reviews, execution planning, and issue resolution.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication among engineering, PM, and customer stakeholders.
• Manage engineering escalations and coordinate resolution of technical, resource, and project issues.
• Provide input into project planning, budgets, forecasts, and capacity planning.
• Drive standardization and process improvements to enhance delivery quality and customer satisfaction.
• Travel up to 15% to support customer engagements and milestones.
