Job summary

ADUSA Distribution in Manchester, CT is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform distribution center shipping and receiving duties, moving product accurately and safely. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, complete required shipping documents, and palletize orders for store delivery.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a distribution environment is preferred, with a valid powered equipment certification

Qualifications

High School Education is required.
Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment.
Able to use a PC for data entry and research.
Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
Highly motivated self-starter and team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Complete all documents related to shipping/receiving tasks.
Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen and dairy orders for shipment.
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
Perform pre-operational checks of pallet jacks or forklifts.
Follow sanitation practices; keep area clean and debris-free.
Suggest procedural changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
