Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform distribution center shipping/receiving functions, moving product accurately and safely throughout the facility. You will handle palletized orders for shipment to stores and operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other material handling equipment to support operations.

Candidates should have a high school education, familiarity with a distribution environment, and be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 80 lbs.

Qualifications

• Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
• Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes.
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Education
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Complete all shipping/receiving documentation.
• Select and palletize grocery and other items for shipment accurately.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Conduct pre-operational checks of equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow sanitation practices.
