Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Manchester, CT to perform shipping/receiving tasks and support the distribution center's operations. You will move products accurately and safely through the facility, handling various product types and operating equipment as needed.

Responsibilities include completing documentation, palletizing orders, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role requires basic computer skills, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

High School Education or equivalent is required.
Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
Ability to use a computer for data entry and research.
Familiarity with a distribution environment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Complete all shipping/receiving documents accurately.
Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen, and dairy orders for shipment.
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other handling equipment safely.
Conduct pre-operational checks of equipment per policy.
Maintain clean work areas and follow sanitation practices.
Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
