Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform shipping/receiving tasks and move product through the distribution center with accuracy and safety.

You will palletize orders, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and complete required documentation while maintaining a clean, organized work area and complying with sanitation standards. A high school education and distribution familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education required or equivalent.
• Familiarity with distribution environments preferred.
• Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor or designee.
• Complete all shipping/receiving documents related to tasks.
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food and dairy orders for shipment to stores.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-operational checks of pallet jacks or forklifts per company policy.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow sanitation practices.
• Suggest procedural modifications to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
