Job summary

ADUSA Distribution in Winthrop, ME is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle shipping and receiving in our distribution center, palletize orders, and operate pallet jacks, forklifts and related equipment safely. You will document shipments, keep the area clean, and contribute to efficiency improvements while meeting safety standards.

A High School diploma and experience in a distribution environment are preferred; candidates must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and work a schedule that supports

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment.
• Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
• Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research purposes.
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor or designee.
• Complete all documents related to shipping/receiving tasks.
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food and dairy orders for shipment to retail stores.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-operational checks of pallet jacks or forklifts according to policy.
• Maintain sanitation; keep work area clean and debris-free.
• Suggest procedural improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
