Job summary

Vantage Apparel in Port Reading, New Jersey, seeks a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to manage inbound receipts and outbound shipments with accuracy and timeliness.

You will verify packing slips, log receipts, and prepare shipments for embroidered products, collaborating across departments to ensure quality and on-time delivery. The role requires English reading ability, a high school diploma, and forklift experience, with standing and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in warehouse/receiving environment.
• Able to read English and perform basic math.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Match received goods to the packing slip to ensure accuracy of quantities and product specifications.
• Complete the receiving log in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure timely shipment of finished embroidered goods in accordance with customer requests and delivery schedules.
• Prepare shipments by organizing physical goods and ensuring all necessary shipping documentation is completed.
• Stage pallets, wrap or box products, and label finished goods for shipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support department needs.
