Primary duties include shipping goods, preparing bills of lading, receiving shipments, verifying accuracy, and maintaining records while using bar code readers, ERP systems and other equipment. The job is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ship goods from the establishment and prepare records of shipped items.
• Responsible for making up bills of lading.
• Post weight and keep files of shipping records.
• Receive incoming shipments of merchandise or other materials.
• Verify correctness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, etc.
• Keeps record of goods received.
• Report damaged goods and shortages.
• Route goods to the proper departments.
• Workers may use bar code readers, computer terminals or other electronic devices.
• Work will include material handling.
