Job summary

Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. seeks a capable Warehouse Group Lead to guide and train a small team in shipping, receiving, and inventory control. You will supervise 4-6 associates and coordinate with the Warehouse Manager to meet daily goals.

You will operate sit-down and reach forklifts as well as pallet jacks, ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks. The role may require overtime and irregular shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a warehouse/assembly team.
• Ability to train and coach associates on shipping, receiving, put away, and picking.
• Experience coordinating with Warehouse Manager on daily tasks.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists with managing 4-6 associates in the warehouse and shipping & receiving areas.
• Monitors, train, and coach new and current associates on shipping, receiving, put away, and picking responsibilities based on job function.
• Performs all warehouse functions within each department.
• Works with Warehouse Manager to ensure daily department tasks are achieved.
• Reports inconsistencies and/or problems to the Warehouse Manager.
• Provides direction and supervision in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
• Operates sit-down forklift, reach truck, electric pallet jack, and pallet jack.
• Ensures team members operate safely every day.
• Operates company vehicle to transport games to/from locations and pick up parts from vendors.
• Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts.
