Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Warehouse Support Specialist to ensure accurate and timely processing of outgoing shipments and to support efficient warehouse operations.

You will generate shipping labels and bills of lading, coordinate carrier pickups, verify shipments, and maintain records while assisting with inventory counts and stock organization.

This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and basic computer/WMS proficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in shipping, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Verify shipment accuracy by inspecting items, quantities, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of shipped items and update inventory systems accordingly.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization within the warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols during shipping processes.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to resolve shipping issues.
