Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate in New Orleans to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and internal distribution. You will stage, label, and track items while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with safety procedures.

The role requires operating forklifts and related equipment, maintaining organized storage areas, and collaborating with vendors and internal teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Valid Louisiana driver’s license with minimal violations.
• Forklift certification or training required or to be obtained within defined period after hire.
• Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, electric cart and standard office equipment.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload inbound deliveries; verify items against documentation.
• Stage, package, label outbound materials for shipment or internal distribution.
• Enter receiving and shipment data into designated systems.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment; perform basic vehicle checks and report issues.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe receiving, storage, and staging areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and audits.
