Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Distribution/Warehouse Supervisor to deploy customer orders and manage WMS to prevent bottlenecks in the Distribution Center. You will supervise Lift Truck Operators, coordinate with site leadership, and drive efficient waves and cross-dock activities.

The role requires 3–5 years in distribution/logistics, experience with WMS and ERP systems, and strong communication skills. This is a hands-on, on-site position with focus on maintaining customer service levels.

Qualifications

BA/BS preferred with 3–5 years in distribution/warehouse logistics.
Experience with WMS; SAP or similar ERP is a plus.
Self-directed with ability to resolve discrepancies or issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with a variety of individuals and teams.

Responsibilities

Supervise, engage, coach and counsel the Lift Truck Operators on the same shift.
Monitor WMS and WCS to determine efficiency of workflow.
Coordinate daily workflow with Site Leadership Team and Lift Truck personnel.
Identify inefficiencies in workflow and adjust wave and labor as needed.
Monitor order queue and balance labor, equipment and warehouse tasks.
Plan, release and complete warehouse waves and interleaving tasks.
Plan, release and complete cross-dock opportunities.
Identify and ensure timely unload of inbound shipments and consolidation moves.
Monitor replenishment and movement progress and communicate status.
