Job summary

SpartanNash, located in Sioux Falls, SD, seeks a Warehouse Lead to coordinate selecting, receiving, shipping and inventory functions. You will lead shifts, train associates, review paperwork, and ensure accurate processes across the warehouse.

You will operate power industrial equipment, lift up to 75 lbs, and work in multi-temperature areas. The role requires 8-10 hour shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. This is a full-time position within a national distribution network.

Qualifications

• One year warehouse/distribution experience.
• Must be certified, or willing to obtain and maintain certification, on powered industrial equipment such as forklift, electric pallet jack, long-tongued electric pallet jack and high-extender high lift.
• Must be able to perform 8-10 hour shifts.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, day and evening hours, and overtime as assigned.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with coordinating warehouse functions such as selecting, receiving, shipping, inventory, etc.
• Move or handle cases, boxes, bags, and pallets of dry groceries and other products as identified.
• Ensure selection, receiving, shipping and storage are accurate and timely.
• Lead shift workflow: assign work to associates and review for accuracy, efficiency and safety compliance.
• Resolve issues with associates or customers during the shift.
• Provide on-the-job training to associates within assigned area(s).
• Review paperwork for accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Assist with scheduling, lead and expedite workflow processes, and train on new procedures.
