Job summary

Now Foods in Bloomingdale, IL is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, shipping, and material flow to manufacturing, ensuring efficient dock utilization and on-time material delivery. You will coach a team, develop SOPs, monitor safety, and drive continuous improvement with Lean methods, while coordinating with supervisors and cross-functional teams.

Experience in food/pharma warehousing, PIT license, and Oracle/Excel proficiency preferred; strong leadership and problem-solving

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and one year related experience and/or training or an equivalent.
Post-secondary education and prior team leadership experience strongly preferred.
PIT license and training in operating material-handling equipment are required.

Responsibilities

Oversees all warehouse activities including receiving, shipping, and material flow to manufacturing to ensure efficient dock utilization and timely material delivery.
Monitors shift performance, assists supervisors to meet daily department goals, and escalates issues as needed to improve efficiency.
Develops SOPs, work instructions, and one-point lessons; mentors staff and ensures training is current and aligned with NOW culture.
Drives continuous improvement initiatives, ensures safety policies and cGMP guidelines are followed, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to solve problems.
