Job summary

Medline in Grayslake, IL is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, direct staff, and ensure accurate receipt, storage and shipment of materials in line with established procedures.

You will mentor team members on productivity, safety and company values, coordinate with customer service to resolve issues, and manage overtime within budget while maintaining inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience coaching, mentoring and training staff.
• At least 3 years warehouse experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree a plus.
• Basic skill level.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily administration and operation of the warehouse.
• Oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
• Direct and supervise warehouse staff.
• Review effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization and protection of equipment.
• Administer and oversee the daily operation of the warehouse including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.
• Ensure overtime is maintained within budget allotted.
• Audit goods received into warehouse.
• Lead day-to-day activities of employees.
• Assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work, directs efforts and provides technical guidance on more complex issues.
• Work with customer service to resolve warehouse related issues.
