Job summary

McLane is hiring a Warehouse Selector in California (Manteca). You will select product, load trucks, and move items between the loading dock and warehouse using reach trucks and pallet jacks. Training pay starts at $22.25/hr; production pay reaches $27.00/hr with incentive potential.

Benefits begin after 60 days, including medical, dental, vision, and more. Responsibilities include verifying documents, ensuring product accuracy, and maintaining safe, organized work areas across various warehouse

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift to 50 pounds or more.
• This position requires basic English reading/writing to perform tasks safely and effectively.
• 1 year of distribution warehouse experience preferred, including reach truck/pallet jack/forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks, moving between loading dock and warehouse.
• Operate reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product.
• Review documents and verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Move product within the warehouse and dock areas; may work in Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer zones.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; maintain clean work area.
