McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Selector in Tracy, CA to move products between the loading dock and the warehouse, load trucks, and pick items for orders. You may work in Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, or Freezer areas, and McLane provides freezer suits, hats, and gloves.

Compensation starts with training at $22 per hour and $27 per hour for production, plus potential incentives. Excellent benefits begin after 60 days, with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) after 90 days, plus

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift to 50 pounds or more.
• At least 1 year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift is preferred, but not required.
• Reading, writing, and understanding English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks, moving product between the loading dock and the warehouse.
• May work in Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer, and other areas.
• Wear freezer suits, hats, and gloves provided by McLane.
• Review documents and record information; verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Operate a reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product within the warehouse and dock.
• Hand-stack product when items are off balance or mislocated.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
