Job summary

Vistar is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift (Sun-Thurs). You will select cases and other items from multi-level warehouse racks, place them on pallets, and move orders to the loading dock using an electric pallet jack or forklift.

The role requires attention to safety, efficiency, and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. The job involves lifting up to 80 pounds, working in cooler/freezer/dry environments, and completing necessary paperwork while maintaining throughput.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6-12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• 6-12 months of electric pallet jack experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-80 pounds throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers to fill customer orders from warehouse storage systems.
• Move completed orders to shipping dock staging area using pallet jack/forklift.
• Ensure safety regulations and quality standards are met during the process.
• Operate pallets and pallets jacks along multiple rack levels to locate items.
• Wrap and label orders for shipment and maintain production flow.
