Job summary

Vistar is seeking a warehouse associate for a Sunday–Thursday, 2nd shift position. Starting pay is $18.05 per hour with Day 1 benefits and a range of company programs supporting employees.

Selected candidates will pick cases and containers from multi-level warehouse racks, operate an electric pallet jack/forklift, and prepare orders for loading at the dock while following safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months warehouse/distribution experience.
• 6–12 months electric pallet jack experience.
• Able to work scheduled times and overtime as required.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Able to lift and stack 10–35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in multi‑temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre‑employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work area.
• Review work schedule and prepare supplies; perform safety checks on equipment.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per guidelines.
• Move pallets on pallet jack and locate products on racks according to orders.
• Load and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Complete paperwork and secure equipment at shift end.
