Job summary

Vistar is seeking a warehouse associate for the Sunday–Thursday 2nd shift to select cases and other containers of food and non-food products from multi-level rack storage. You will move completed orders to the loading dock using an electric pallet jack and forklift, wrapping and labeling for shipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This hands-on role requires stamina, the ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally, and adherence to safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Ability to work scheduled hours and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs and up to 80 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and keep area safe.
• Review schedule, prepare supplies, and perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Move pallets on racks and locate products per order sheets.
• Transport orders to shipping dock and shrink-wrap as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
