Job summary

US Foods is hiring for a warehouse role in a fast-paced environment where you will select customer orders, build and wrap pallets, and operate an electric pallet jack. You will verify accuracy and ensure products are undamaged, then deliver to the correct dock while maintaining tidy aisles and equipment.

The role requires reading and speaking English for trainings and safety, and it involves 8+ hour night shifts Sunday–Thursday, with weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings, receive safety instruction, and complete reports.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, Sunday through Thursday (weekends and holidays as needed).
• Recent experience in a physically demanding or endurance-based role preferred.
• Experience selecting large-scale orders or operating a motorized pallet jack preferred.

Main Ingredients of the Job

• Safely and accurately select customer orders.
• Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Carefully move products from racks to pallets as directed by order-selecting software and equipment.
• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage-free.
• Efficiently deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
• Team up to clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets, and return pallet jacks to the charging area.

Schedule

• Work Days: Sunday-Thursday from 4:30 pm until completion (8-10 hr shifts)

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5°F to over 100°F.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively, moving 1,000+ cases per shift.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.

The training base rate for this role is $23.00 per hour, and after training, associates will be paid incentive-based component pay determined by productivity metrics such as cases scanned per hour.
