Job summary

US Foods Warehouse Team Members safely and efficiently pick customer orders and build pallets for weekly productivity and accuracy. You’ll perform pre-shift checks, operate a motorized pallet jack, and use order selecting software to move products from racks to pallets.

The role runs on a night schedule, Sun–Fri with start times around 4:30–5:30 PM and may include weekends/holidays as needed. The position offers excellent benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings, hold conversations, and enter information on reports.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, usually Sun-Thu; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Recent experience in high endurance or highly physical activity is preferred.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment
• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free
• Deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wrap palletized orders
• Team up to clear aisles of debris and return pallet jacks to charging area

SCHEDULE: Night Shift

• Sun -Fri availability
• 4:30-5:30 PM start times
• Work until finished with nightly orders

We help you make it! Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is $30.01/hour.

• As applicable, this role will also receive: overtime compensation, incentive compensation based on productivity and quality, shift differential, freezer premium.

Main Ingredients of the Job

• Safely and accurately select customer orders. Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet
• Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment
• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free
• Efficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wraps palletized orders
• Team up to clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging area

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required

What You Bring To The Table

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday - Thursday. At times weekends and holidays will required
• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred
